The SportsReach Football League calendar took a further battering from the elements on Saturday with just two fixtures completed – one in the league and one that saw the first round of the SportsReach Champions Cup finally wrapped up.

In the league, Lancaster regained top spot with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Wray thanks to a first-half strike from long-serving winger Matt Parker.

Elsewhere, Great Ecc progressed to the next round of the Champions Cup with a 6-2 win over Kendal – a 10-5 aggregate win. Jack Sharples was the star of the show netting a hat-trick.
