Midanne International Vision Academy

Over the years of serving the Lord in Kenya, we felt that He was calling us to help children and families in a new way. By the grace of God, in recent years we have been able to work with our dear friend Pastor Omido Jahonga in opening a sponsored school and bring many children into a sponsorship programme. It is wonderful to not only to be able to give these children the opportunity of a good education, but also to help support their families and bring them under the Word of God.

The school is based in Lumakanda, Lugari District, Eldoret. The land was purchased and the school was established in 2019 initially with just 7 pupils and was named ‘Midanne International Vision Academy’. Since then the school has grown and developed, with the help and support of many, and God’s prompting and provision. We currently have over 60 sponsored children, several teachers, a cook and a groundsman/caretaker.

Omido is seeking more sponsors for children from needy families to enable their education and to develop the school further. The cost is just £16 a month per child. This provides for their schooling as well as enabling Omido to buy essentials for the family. We are able to provide photos of each child, along with education updates.

Our prayer is that God will continue to provide for this school and these children, and that many more will be able to join our programme. We pray that they will not only gain a life-changing education, but that they will grow to know the Lord Jesus as their Saviour and go on to serve Him.
