SportsReach Netball League

Wednesday evening and the Cup and Plate games are now under way!

We were treated to an amazing sunset just prior to the games and with the moon shining down as the games were played, it was another fine, clear, yet cold evening!

‘Be still and Know that I am God’ was the message shared to the teams this evening as they were encouraged to just take time out of our busy and often hectic lives and reflect on who God is and to look at the marvellous creation He has given us which shows us that He exists.  Too often we ‘fill’ our lives with stuff and things and miss seeing the beauty around us and even more we miss seeing or considering God. When was the last time we sat and watched the sun rise or set or stood under a cloudless sky at night and gazed up at the hosts of stars above us and turned to God? When did we last consider that Jesus died so we could be forgiven and reconciled to God, and that He rose to give us life?

On the courts some great games were played with winning teams progressing either into the cup or into the plate.
