SportsReach Netball League
Semi final night.
The semi finals for both the Cup and the Plate were contested tonight. It seemed strange to be starting the games in the daylight!
In the Plate, Sapphires overcame fellow Garstang team Crystals 32 – 12 to setup a final against Jets who defeated a valiant Crown Lane team 32 – 14.
In the Cup, Rubies went down to TopCats 66 – 13 who will contest an all Chipping final as 1st place WildCats won a very close game which was nip and tuck all the way before they finally overcame 2nd place Diamonds 21 – 20.
At the half way point Kathryn shared a powerful message using the word Gospel and a box of fudge encouraging us to take a step forward and to taste and see for ourselves that God is good and wants us to come to Him. We had to get a piece of fudge for ourselves, we couldn’t get for anyone else and they couldn’t get a piece for us. In a similar way we have to come to Jesus for ourselves.
The finals will be held at Ripley 27th April
