SPORTSREACH NETBALL LEAGUE RESULTS 2018/19

Wednesday 26th September saw us into our third week of the season. Some great games were held once again on a beautiful evening. It was stunning to look around and see the sunset, but it was wonderful to look around the courts and see 8 groups of women all hearing the gospel at the interval! The games included a Capernwray derby – Mantawrays against Stingrays. Both teams came together to present a cheque to St John’s Hospice for sponsorship raised from their World Record attempt of scoring the most goals in 24 hours. The event was held in memory of one of their players, Victoria Wigglesworth, who sadly passed away recently after battling against cancer. Over £7,000 was raised for the 3 charities! Well done ladies!
