SportsReach 5 – 10 Belleville
Monday evening saw us split into two teams and travel opposite directions to play two matches against local opposition.
One team travelled to Belleville and played on another great 3G pitch against a slightly older but very strong team. Olly Jackson finally located the goal after several practise shots and scored 5 goals for us. Unfortunately we lost 10 – 5 but the sharing time went very well as Sooty spoke a powerful message on mistakes in the World Cup by players and officials alike and then led them to the one who never made any mistakes and who gave His life for us on the cross. It was really encouraging to talk with a Christian guy afterwards and to see others sat reading the literature given. They were a really warm and friendly team and would certainly welcome us back and maybe even visit us in the UK.
