The season is approaching its final month with plenty of important points to play for and despite some torrential conditions across Lancashire today, three SportsReach fixtures went ahead as planned.
Champions Cup Finalists Quernmore and Lancaster were both in action and both recorded convincing wins whilst League Cup Finalists Great Ecc continued their good form.
Lancaster made the trip to Carnforth to take on Loko and took the lead through the returning Martin Lewis. The influential captain scored from the spot and later added another penalty in the second half. In between, Tom Luxton grabbed a hat-trick whilst Loko captain Graeme Beaumont scored his side’s consolation.
Elsewhere, Quernmore overcame Fulwood by seven goals to one, helped by another hat-trick from in-form striker Tom Kelsall. Fulwood battled hard and scored late on through Luke Dean from the spot.
Finally, Great Ecc and Fleetwood met for the second time in a week and, following their 1-0 win last weekend, Eccy completed back-to-back wins with a 5-2 victory inspired by their two top scorers; Bill Gibbons and Jack Sharples – the latter notching a hat-trick. Fleetwood
