April showers greeted us as the SportsReach season enters the home strait but all four fixtures went ahead as planned.
Champions Cup finalists Quernmore travelled to Fleetwood and found the home team at their very best as they recorded a 7-1 victory with Andrew Windsor and Andi Smart both notching a brace.
Loko hosted Fulwood in an entertaining game which saw the away side race into a 2-0 lead inside half an hour. But a spirited Loko side fought back with a goal in each half to ensure a share of the spoils.
Longton, three points off top spot with a game in hand, knew only a win would suffice against Garstang and they recorded a convincing 11-1 victory with Gregg Metcalf and Nathanael Richardson both scoring hat-tricks.
Lancaster could maintain their three point advantage at the top of the table with a win and despite going 1-0 down, they fought back quickly and eventually won 6-2. Steven Richardson scored twice in the second half to secure the victory.
