Tonight the draw for the first round of the Champions Cup was made, with some exciting games drawn out of the hat! The first round of fixtures will be played on the 11th November, with the second leg to be played on the 9th December.

It is great to welcome both Accrington and Longton into the cup for this season. Longton will be looking to follow on from their triumph last season and win another cup this season.

First out of the hat was an in form Wray team, the team that nobody wanted to face! Accrington were the team to be drawn out against them. Fulwood were the next team out of the hat, getting a home tie against a high scoring Loko team. Its a champions vs. champions affair in the next tie, League cup champions Longton facing Champions Cup winners Great Ecc. A very exciting fixture! Moorlands were then drawn at home to face Quernmore. The first leg of the Moorlands vs. Quernmore has been forfeited due Moorlands being unable to get a team. The second leg is still planned on being played. The forfeited game is therefore recorded as Moorlands 0 – 3 Quernmore. Finally, an improving Preston City Mission team were drawn at home to Lancaster, looking to get back to winning ways this week.
