SPORTSREACH VS CAPERNWRAY STUDENTS

Saturday 10th March –

SportsReach Ladies played against a team of girl students from Capernwray Hall and Sportsreach Classics played against a team of guy students also from Capernwray Hall. The games were held at Carnforth High school.

Two good, competitive games with the SportsReach Ladies taking an early lead, and after hitting the cross bar and the post several times during the match, the final score was 5 – 1 to Sportsreach. The student team was made up of girls from Germany, Canada and America and the player of the match went to their exceptional goal keeper. The girls went indoors to hear the message from Sue after the game, about the great love God has for us.

Classics 4 – 4 Students – Again the students were from many different countries. A very good game, and the score could’ve been different if the students had all had access to football boots! Graham Stamford shared the pre-match message – 7 reasons to follow Jesus.
