SportsReach Netball League

A full programme of games at Ripley and another clear, fine night saw a good number of spectators come along to watch some close and entertaining games as the final league places were decided.  As always, the highlight is seeing the circles of players forming as the messages are shared at the midway point of the evening.  Some of the messages included the sharing of chocolates, creme eggs and donuts which is always an added bonus!  But the real message is the only one worth sharing, that Jesus came to save us and to change lives.

Netball wise:

Congratulations to WildCats who clinched the Division one title and will look to go the season unbeaten with one game remaining for them.

Division two was so tight with Mantawrays, Thunder and Sapphires all vying for the top two spots.  Thunder came out top with Mantawrays finishing in second, ahead only on goal difference from Sapphires.

With just a couple of games left in Division three, Royals clinched the title even though they didn’t play as Panthers claimed victory over Crystals who finish in second place.

Next week sees the cup fixtures begin.
