SportsReach Netball League

Another fine clear night, perfect for netball.  Brexit and Donald Trump got a mention in one of the messages again as it was mentioned how in all the campaigning, statements were made by all parties and promises were made and we had to decide if the truth was being told and how to vote as a result.  Now that the results were decided, only time would tell if the truth had been told and if the promises would be fulfilled.  Jesus said “I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life.” God’s word is truth and has stood the test of time.  His promises are faithful and true.  Why not put your trust in Him?

Netball: Some great games played and some very close results too.  MereCats pipped Roses by just 1 goal.  Jets came out on top in the Quernmore derby and Rubies got their first win! 🙂  TopCats remain at the top of division one, with MereCats moving into third in division two closing in on Sapphires and Royals and Harriers stretched their lead in division three to 5 points.  Lots of netball still to be played!  Next Wednesday we have the Lancaster  derby – Roses v Royals; and the Westhouse derby with Thunder playing Lightning!
